My Plein Air Work

This selection of my work made in the great outdoors embodies the current quality and breadth of my work done on location.

When I paint outside nothing stands in between the beauty of the world and my canvas.

Painting outdoors allows me to connect with nature in a grounding, meditative experience. Through painting I remember how clouds form as they drift through the skies, how wildflowers shift as they follow the everchanging arc of the sun and moon, and how light casts shadows which dance between the pines.

When I finish a piece, a bit of that magic is captured to be cherished, and shared. I hope my work brings you peace and an appetite for living your best life.
