A custom pastel painting inspired by a meaningful place, memory, or moment.

Commissions

How it works

  • Share your idea through my contact form

  • I’ll follow up to refine the details and confirm pricing

  • A 50% deposit secures your commission and begins the process

  • Your painting is created and delivered to you

To get started, share a few details:

  • The place, memory, or idea you’d like painted

  • Preferred size, if you have one in mind

  • 1–3 reference photos

  • Timeline (if you have one)

Not sure about all the specifics yet? That’s completely fine—I’m happy to help you figure it out.

The Full Commission Process:

    • We begin with a conversation about the place, idea, or feeling you want captured

    • Any preferences, requests, or important details should be discussed at this stage so they can be considered in the work

    • A 50% deposit secures your place and allows the painting to begin

    • Commissions are created in my own style and reflect my artistic interpretation rather than an exact replication

    • I accept both plein air and studio commissions, depending on the scope and intent of the piece

    • For larger studio works (typically 16 × 20 and above), I create plein air studies on location—when feasible—to faithfully capture the light, color, and atmosphere of the environment

    • These studies are developed into the final painting in the studio, where composition, structure, and atmosphere are refined

    • The goal is to create a piece that feels true to the place, not just visually accurate

    • The final painting is completed in the studio and prepared for delivery

    • Paintings are shipped unframed to allow flexibility for your space

    • Framing recommendations are provided to help the piece sit naturally in your home

    • All shipments are fully insured to ensure the work arrives safely

    • The remaining balance is due prior to shipping

    • All sales are final once the work is completed

    • Your painting is created using professional, archival materials designed to last

    • Keep the work out of direct sunlight and away from extreme humidity

    • With proper care, the piece will remain a lasting part of your space for years to come
